Since we have been on the island for twenty years, we have seen Lipe grow. That is why we know the island itself, and the surrounding islands, very well indeed. The resorts, restaurants, dive-shops; how to get and how to leave Lipe – we can give you information about all of this.
Lipe is a small island, shaped like a boomerang. It belongs to the Tarutao-Nationalpark, originally inhabited by „the urak lawoi“ and is sourranded by three uninhabited, bigger islands. Lipe is about 4km long and 1,5km wide. The highest point is 90m above sea level. It is the only inhabited island in the archipelago.
